Venture Catalyst Incorporated ("VCAT") (OTCBB:VCAT), announced today that Dubuque Greyhound Park & Casino has licensed Mariposa, VCAT's award-winning customer relationship management ("CRM"), marketing and business intelligence software system. Located in Dubuque, Iowa, the Dubuque Greyhound Park & Casino is the first racino to license Mariposa.

Mariposa is a software solution that provides a fully-integrated CRM, marketing and business intelligence system for the gaming industry. Developed to work in conjunction with existing player tracking, slot accounting and other data collection systems, Mariposa can dramatically improve the way casinos do business. By providing gaming properties with tools to create, execute and track sophisticated multi-channel, targeted marketing campaigns, as well as analyze both customers and products on the casino floor, we believe that Mariposa can help significantly increase revenues and operating efficiency. Mariposa consists of a proprietary modular suite of applications, including Campaign Management, Data Visualization, with easy-to-read mapping features, a Data Warehouse, including "Predictive Modeling," and a Player Contact System.
Mariposa is currently in use at the Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino in San Diego, California, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Greektown Casino in Detroit, Michigan, and the Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower and Arizona Charlie's Boulder and Arizona Charlie's Decatur in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mariposa has also been licensed to the Jackson Rancheria Casino, Hotel & Conference Center near Sacramento, California, Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino in Laughlin, Nevada, and Thunder Valley Casino located near Sacramento, California.

Opening on June 1, 1985, Dubuque Greyhound Park became the nation's first non-profit greyhound track. In November 1995, a slot casino was added and the facility became Dubuque Greyhound Park & Casino. In May 2005, Dubuque Greyhound Park & Casino will be opening a new expanded facility offering more gaming devices, more space and more amenity choices. The facility is owned by the City of Dubuque and is run under the guidance of the Dubuque Racing Association, a volunteer board comprised of 21 directors.
