VMCS News VisualMED at HIMSS Tradeshow Today in New Orleans
MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VisualMED Clinical Solutions Corp. (OTCBB: VMCS) (FWB: VA6) announces that the company will be displaying its complete product line at the annual meeting of HIMSS which opens today in New Orleans’s Ernest M. Morial Convention Center. VisualMED has maintained a presence at that meeting, the largest of its kind in North America, during each year of the company’s existence, but this year, the company will demonstrate its ambulatory care functionality, as well as a number of other features absent from competing offerings.
VisualMED will also be displaying new modules supporting the practice of Anesthesia, Endoscopy, and Oncology, as well as new functionality supporting all aspects of patient care documentation in the ambulatory environment. New self-completing patient care documentation templates are also being shown for the first time, as well as drawing templates that can be used at sites using wireless computing tablets rather than fixed workstations. The ambulatory functionality itself can be acquired through a “standard” on-site server implementation or through ASP implementations where VisualMED is the application service provider.
In an earlier press release announcing VisualMED’s anticipated participation in the meeting, CEO Gerard Dab remarked, “The HIMSS meeting kicks off what we expect to be our busiest year so far in terms of trade show attendance. With our ambulatory care offering ready for the marketplace, we plan on participating in trade show venues catering to both inpatient and ambulatory practices in the areas of cardiology, oncology, pediatrics, and in the surgical specialties.”
