(OTCBB:VSNI), creator of the VisiFone(TM), the world's first voice, video and interactive content IP telephone, announced today that Mark Mercer has joined as its new Vice President, Marketing and Business Development effective immediately. Mr. Mercer will report to Sean Belanger, President and CEO in this newly created position. Mr. Mercer brings over 18 years of technology and business development experience, including positions as Vice President/General Manager of Time Warner Cable's Road Runner Business Class service and as a partner with Ernst & Young, LLP. At Time Warner, Mr. Mercer founded the business services group and successfully rolled out multiple products to over 40 markets. Additionally, Mr. Mercer has consulted with various high tech startups assisting with product positioning, strategy, M&A, and business development. Mr. Mercer is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.
