WIZD Wizzard Software Announces Rosemont Pharmacy As Newest Retailer for Rex-The Talking Bottle

Wizzard Software Announces Rosemont Pharmacy As Newest Retailer for Rex-The Talking Bottle PITTSBURGH IR Contact: Arthur Douglas and Associates Art Batson, 407-478-1120 or Wizzard Contact: Wizzard Software Danielle Lewis, 412-621-0902 Wizzard Software (OTCBB:WIZD) and its subsidiary, MedivoxRx Technologies, announced that Rosemont Pharmacy is a new Rex-The Talking Bottle retailer. Located in Rosemont, IL by O'Hare Airport, Rosemont Pharmacy is an independently owned pharmacy specializing in senior care and offering services such as medical equipment, wound care, compounding and screenings. Rosemont will offer the Rex Starter Kit, which contains 3 bottles, a recording unit with a microphone that makes recording possible by simply pressing a button and speaking, a power supply and easy-to-follow instructions. The Refill Kit contains three additional bottles that are used in conjunction with the recorder included with the Rex Starter Kit. "I decided to buy and sell the Rex system because I see the need for the visually challenged customer and the elderly customer," said Dr. Gregory Kovak, owner and operator of Rosemont Pharmacy. "So they can understand what the drug is and the drug's purpose." A pharmacist for over 20 years, Dr. Kovak went on to say that he believes Rex will be able to help decrease drug errors such as the incidences of over-medication or taking the wrong medications. "Dr Kovak, like many pharmacists today, is rightfully concerned about medication errors," said Gene Franz, General Manager, Solutions and Channels for MedivoxRx. "In excess of 100,000 people die each year as a result of medication errors. Offering solutions at the consumer level is a positive step toward reducing this number." "This Talking bottle will revolutionize the health care industry to improve patient compliance and educate them on the purpose of each drug they have," noted Kovak. Rex-The Talking Bottle is an innovative assistive device that allows users to "hear" recorded medication instructions. Using a special recording device, instructions are recorded into the base of the bottle. Instructions can then be "read" out-loud by pushing the button located on the side of the bottle. Completely portable, disposable and easy to use, Rex is perfect for the visually impaired and cognitively impaired, or anyone who can't read or understand their medication label instructions.
