WLGC News WordLogic Licenses Prediction Engine to Cre8txt Limited

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WordLogic Corporation (OTCBB:WLGC), a leading-edge developer and licenser of advanced multilingual predictive text input software, announced today it has entered into a worldwide non-exclusive license with Cre8txt Limited of Bolton, UK.

The Cre8txt keyboard utilizes the skills of people who already use SMS (Short Message Service) texting on mobile phones. Texting has become massively popular with today’s youth, particularly in Europe, where SMS has been ahead of North America and Asia. Worldwide, young people have developed a language based on SMS text and some can actually type text faster using a numerical keyboard layout rather than using a traditional computer QWERTY keyboard.

The Cre8txt keyboard is similar to a mobile phone keypad, and will utilize the WordLogic™ predictive text technology. The WordLogic Prediction Engine will predict text selected from a database of frequently used words, and will also be capable of translating SMS Text language into full text.

“It is true to say that texting is an established method of communicating but only on the message or messaging platform of the mobile phone,” commented Russell Prue, Cre8txt’s Director and joint inventor of the Cre8txt device. “Schools have stopped teaching keyboard skills mainly because of the pressures of the broader curriculum. Young people have continued to develop their mobile phone texting skills as this is often the preferred method of communication.”

The Patent Pending Cre8txt is compatible with both PC and Apple Computer ® technologies and also the XBOX 360TM gaming platform.

“We are truly excited to have Mr. Prue endorse our world class technology as a bona fide solution to literacy issues in education,” commented Frank Evanshen WordLogic’s President and CEO. “The Cre8txt platform is a perfect fit for the WordLogic Predictive Keyboard.”
