Management Believes Stock Continues to be Significantly Undervalued at Current Levels
Wireless Age Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:WLSA), a leading supplier of solutions to the Canadian wireless communications industry, today announced that the company achieved record sales for April and May 2005.
Gross sales for each of April and May were approximately $2.1 million, an all time company record for monthly revenue.
"The acquisition of mmwave earlier this year has contributed to the top line growth that we're experiencing," said John Simmonds, Wireless Age Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He reiterated that in 2005 Wireless Age expects strong growth from the acquisition of mmwave as well as internal growth in the company's existing divisions. "We remain confident, based on our plan, that we are on track for a record year in 2005," Simmonds said.
Brad Poulos, Wireless Age president, noted that the company remains very optimistic. "We plan to add stores during 2005 in our retail division; we have certain business developments that are nearing completion and we continue to talk with potential acquisition candidates."
Both Simmonds and Poulos stated that at current levels the company's common stock remains significantly undervalued. "We are taking concrete steps to bring value to our shareholders," Poulos stated, noting that first and foremost the company is committed to growing the Wireless Age business.
