XNOM News Xenomics to Present Breakthrough Medical DNA Technology at Rodman & Renshaw Techvest Healthcare Conference; Company to Outline Development of New Proprietary Transrenal-DNA Methods for Safe and Noninvasive Diagnosis of Diseases

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 2005--Xenomics, Inc. (OTCBB:XNOM)(FWB:XE7), a developer of next-generation medical DNA technologies, will present its breakthrough proprietary Transrenal-DNA technology platform for the safe, accurate and noninvasive detection and monitoring of a range of diseases and prenatal genetic conditions at the Rodman & Renshaw Techvest 7th Annual Healthcare Conference, a high-profile forum for institutional investors and other professionals in the worldwide biotechnology industry, scheduled for November 7 - 9 in New York City.

Xenomics CEO Dr. Randy White will discuss the Company's Transrenal-DNA (Tr-DNA) technology on Monday, November 7, at 11:15 a.m., in the Adams room of the New York Palace Hotel.

Xenomics' diagnostic technology is based on the noninvasive sampling of DNA material that passes transrenally, or through the kidneys, and is excreted in urine. Xenomics scientists were the first to detect Tr-DNA and to determine that it can be used to detect and monitor a broad range of diseases and prenatal genetic conditions. Its initial development programs include prenatal diagnostic methods to test for Down syndrome and other fetal genetic abnormalities could be performed on maternal urine samples.

The Company's mission is to develop safe and highly accurate medical testing products based upon its Tr-DNA technology platform. The Company is developing cost-effective, medically advantageous alternatives to DNA-based and other diagnostic methods now in use. Most existing medical DNA diagnostic tests use blood or tissue samples from invasive tissue biopsies, which are generally more difficult, riskier and costlier to obtain.

About Xenomics, Inc.

Xenomics is a molecular diagnostic company that focuses on the development of DNA-based tests using Transrenal DNA (Tr-DNA). Xenomics' patented technology uses safe and simple urine collection and can be applied to a broad range of applications, including prenatal testing, tumor detection and monitoring, tissue transplantation, infectious disease detection, genetic testing for forensic identity determination, drug development, and research to counter bioterrorism. Scientists from Xenomics were the first to report that fragments of DNA from normal cell death cross the kidney barrier and can be detected in urine. The Company believes that its technology will open significant new markets in the molecular diagnostics field. Xenomics has three issued U.S. patents covering different applications of the technology for molecular diagnostics and genetic testing and a corresponding allowed European patent for the Company's prenatal testing applications. The Company has organized a joint venture to conduct research on infectious disease detection with the National Institute for Infectious Diseases (Istituto Nazionale per le Malattie Infettive "Lazarus Spallanzani") in Rome, in the form of a new R&D company called SpaXen Italia, S.R.L.
