Organic beer sales are rapidly increasing. In fact, sales in North America alone have grown from $9 million to $19 million in just two years, according to the Organic Trade Association. Ted O’Connor, President of Aladdin Beverage, stated, “We could not be more happy. This tells us organic beer is marketable and is here to stay.”
The company recently became one of the first to import organic beers to the U.S. by signing an exclusive agreement with Green Man Beer from New Zealand to import its unique beers. “You see some domestically brewed organic beers in the market, but very few imported organic beers. We capture two emerging niches in the beer industry by signing with Green Man Brewery,” O’Conner commented.
