EWKE News Earthworks Entertainment Expands Its Property Rights Portfolio by 400%; Company's Library Grows from 2 to 8 Entertainment Properties
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 15, 2005--Earthworks Entertainment (OTCBB:EWKE.OB--News) announced today that it has substantially increased its entertainment rights sales and marketing portfolio with the addition of 6 new properties to its library in the past five months. The Company estimates that these properties will begin to generate revenue in the 1st Quarter of 2006.
Earthworks Head of Licensing & Brand Management, Cathy Malatesta states: "We had an absolutely super International Licensing Show in New York in June and are now close to concluding several important transactions. We expect to begin announcing deals for our properties in areas ranging from publishing to apparel to direct retail sales arrangements within the next sixty days."
