Sony Plaza Teams with Earthworks to Sell Highly Popular Suzy's Zoo Brand Products in World's Dominant International Market
Earthworks Entertainment (OTCBB:EWKE) announced today that Sony Plaza Company Ltd., the Japan based retail sales division of the Sony Group, has acquired the rights for, and will distribute licensed products of, the acclaimed Suzy's Zoo brand in all major merchandise categories through its group of 100 + retail stores throughout Japan.
The announcement was made by Earthworks Entertainment Head of Global Licensing & Marketing, Cathy Malatesta.
"The massively popular Suzy's Zoo line has over 200 whimsical characters and accounts for over 100 million dollars in annual sales in the USA in categories ranging from apparel to toys to greeting cards. The Sony Plaza distribution arrangement signifies the initial success of our campaign to aggressively position this world class property in the global marketplace. This is the first of what we believe will be many retail sales deals throughout the world.
