In Addition to Its 100+ Store Group Sony Plaza Company to Sell Suzy's Zoo Product Lines to All Mass and Specialty Stores in Japan
Earthworks Entertainment (OTCBB:EWKE) announced today that Sony Plaza Company Ltd., the Japan based retail sales division of the Sony Corporation, will represent the classic, extremely popular Suzy's Zoo property in the total Japan market, selling licensed merchandise to all appropriate retail outlets throughout Japan. The announcement was made by Earthworks Entertainment Head of Global Licensing, Cathy Malatesta.
"In addition to selling Suzy's Zoo products through their own more than 100 Sony Plaza Stores with a customer base of about 20 million shoppers, which we recently announced, Sony Plaza will now also act as the Master Licensor for the entire territory of Japan. In this capacity, Sony Plaza will market the Suzy's Zoo brand in the mass market, as well as in specialty stores, countrywide.
