GLOW News Prestigious Top 50 Law Firm ``Glowpoint Enables'' Its Network
HILLSIDE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Glowpoint, Inc. (OTC:GLOW.PK),
a leading broadcast-quality, IP-based managed video service provider
announced today that another large law firm has selected Glowpoint’s
full range of managed video services. The firm will be leveraging the
flexible “Glowpoint Enabled Solution,”
by which the Glowpoint services are delivered across the firm’s
private enterprise network.
The Glowpoint Enabled Solution allows customers to connect their private
networks in a secure fashion to Glowpoint’s
high-quality video network and service platform. Once the network is
connected, all of the customer’s video systems
are registered with the Glowpoint service platform and receive their own
10-digit video numbers and have access to all of Glowpoint’s
unique video communication service offerings, including gateway access
for ISDN “off-net”
calling, on-demand and assisted multi-party video conference calls, live
video Operator service, and video mail mailboxes, among other unique
services and features. This customer will be using Glowpoint’s
Enabled services at seven locations in the United States and one in
Europe.
“In the past, customers have been under the
impression that Glowpoint would only provide services over the Glowpoint
network,” said Michael Brandofino, Glowpoint’s
president and CEO. “In this case, the
customer is leveraging a VPN provided by Savvis which shows how
Glowpoint‘enables’
customers to leverage their own network, while gaining the benefits of
using Glowpoint for managed video services.”
Glowpoint continues to gain market share in the legal sector. Currently,
more than 40 law firms use Glowpoint, of which 11 are among the largest
50 firms in the United States, as ranked by Internet Legal Research
