XSUNX film application question

I have a question from reading the XSUN web site information. Perhaps someone can answer or direct me. It says; “XsunX believes that Power Glass™ technology can provide an ideal solution for the wide scale integration of real energy producing products into living and working environments – all without causing disruptive and costly changes to lifestyles.” I am wondering if this photovoltaic film is placed on the inside or outside of the glass? If it is on the outside it would have to be very rugged to stand up to wind and weather and would it affect selective tinted glass’s purpose. If film is placed on the inside of glass what about the fact that most large scale glass shear walls use reflective or low-e glass that block up to 80% of the solar energy which dramatically reduces air conditioning (AC) electric costs. Therefore if the Power glass is 80% blocked and 5% efficient the application of this film would mean only about 1% of the solar energy would be converted instead of 5%. If Power Solar Glass replaces reflective architectural glass with plane flat glass that transfers the solar energy to the building, then the AC costs shoot way up. Where is the energy savings?
