From an INTK message board : Facebook, viral marketing of Nansulate and how we can help target key demographics.
I believe in Nansulate's potential, but so far Industrial Nanotech has
not marketed it very successfully. It's time for some grass roots
action. We investors, and users of Nansulate, can help expose Nansulate
to the green activists and entrepreneurs most likely to spread the word
about Nansulate on a viral basis through the medium of facebook. There
are hundreds of green advocacy and green entrepreneurial groups on FB,
and these groups are made up of the people who are really passionate
about green technology, and who make their livelihoods off of
sustainable living technology. We should engage these groups because it
will produce results. I have joined several green advocacy groups on FB
where I have posted descriptions, weblinks and discussion topics
regarding Nansulate. I joined, and posted on, one group created by a
woman looking for ideas concerning how she should proceed to create a
green bed and breakfast, where she will give seminars on sustainable
living. Here is this woman’s response to my post:
Hi Mike, welcome to our group, THE GREEN HOME OF THE FUTURE. Joe and I
are facinated by this insulating paint you posted information about.
Joe was wondering what the R value per coat is since he's more familiar
with dealing with insulation in those terms. And do you have a price
range per 100 square feet, or something like that. I was looking
through your website trying to find out where the nanotechnology came
into play, but never found it... is it a secret? LOL Thanks for posting
on our group wall!! I'll probably add your website to our links also,
since your link on the wall, didn't seem to work well. Judy T.
While it is true that this woman’s bed and breakfast is not petrobras,
it is clear that activists and green entrepreneurs will network and
spread awareness of Nansulate. So here is what I am proposing that we
investors should do…Join facebook and engage the green community in
accordance with this procedure:
1) type green buzz phrases into the search bar in order to locate green
groups, eg sustainable living, green architecture, solar power etc. and
then join the groups. No group is too small.
2) Post links and descriptions regarding Nansulate and start discussion
topics about Nansulate. For example: if you join a solar power group
and you have actually used Nansulate solar on your solar panels, start
a discussion topic and describe your personal story with nansulate.
Keep messages personal, DON’T SOUND SPAMMY, for it will bring negative
attention. Just give your honest testimonial and put a link for the
website or youtube video. All kinds of solar power entrepreneurs are on
these groups networking, so engage them by suggesting nanulate solar in
light of your own success with the product.
3) DON’T OVER POST: ONLY POST ON TWO TO THREE GROUPS PER DAY. Abuse of
FB will be noticed and FB will suspend your account. Additionally, if
you see someone else has posted a discussion on Nansulate (me) just
join the discussion with your testimonial, don’t start a new discussion.
I am sure many of you feel too busy to engage in this kind of
marketing, but just consider that a mere five minutes on FB a day or
week will generate interest among a key demographic of potential
business. My personal efforts have already born fruit, but if there
appears to be a nansulate following with real testimonials, this could
really take off. Five minutes per day for the sake of your
investment…think about it.
