PLUS News ePlus Awarded State of Connecticut Cisco Contract; Company to Provide Cisco Products and Maintenance Solutions Statewide
HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 3, 2006--ePlus inc. (NASDAQ:PLUS) announced that its subsidiary, ePlus Technology, inc., has been selected by the State of Connecticut to provide new Cisco equipment to all state agencies, municipalities, political subdivisions, non-profits, and educational institutions as well as deliver on-going support for the State's installed based of Cisco products.
Under the new contract, CA06ITZ0034, ePlus will be the exclusive supplier for state agencies within the Executive Branch. ePlus is also authorized to deliver the full range of Cisco products and maintenance solutions to the other state and local organizations across the state. The two-year agreement, which began in June 2006, contains two one-year extension options.
ePlus was chosen based on its Cisco Gold Certified Partner status, close working partnership with Cisco, and ability to provide totally integrated solutions.
