HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ePlus inc. (Nasdaq NGM:PLUS),
today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ePlus
Technology, Inc., has expanded its sales and engineering team in the
Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The new professionals bring decades of
expertise in sales management, business development, strategic planning,
and network design and implementation in the telecommunications
industry, further strengthening ePlus’
national Cisco practice as a prominent Cisco Certified Gold Partner.
ePlus Technology is a leading direct marketer of IT
products and professional services, and the expansion of its Dallas area
office will also strengthen ePlus’
local presence. The ePlus office, located in the Las
Colinas area with proximity to Dallas and Fort Worth and DFW airport, is
an ideal location for the ePlus team to serve the greater
Metroplex market.
The team leader is Steven Reed, who brings more than 30 years of
experience to ePlus as director of sales. Mr. Reed has
held executive, consulting, and sales management positions at Motorola,
Sprint, Accenture, Ernst and Young Consulting, and AT&T/SBC
Communications. With an extensive background in telecommunications, Mr.
Reed has experience with business and product development, national and
global account management and sales operations, and a wide variety of
network transformation and emerging technologies.
In addition to Mr. Reed, ePlus adds three senior account
executives. Rick Hernandez has nearly two decades of experience in the
telecommunications arena, where he served as national account manager
and integrated sales executive for enterprise and global solutions.
Ronnie D. Broom joins ePlus with more than 25 years in
telecommunications management, account management, and technical sales
for government, education, and medical enterprises. Robert Stack, a
Cisco sales expert, has 15 years of telecommunications experience
(including network integration with data and voice networks and IP
telephony systems) and holds an MBA in Telecommunications Management.
To complement the sales team, ePlus has also hired another
Cisco Certified Internetworking Engineer (CCIE) as senior engineer. With
more than 15 years of IT engineering experience, the CCIE has
specializations in advanced internetworking design, network security
design and implementation, network fault-isolation and optimization, and
strategic network architecture.
