The power of the National-One-Number-Delivery solution
comes from the marketing of the “National-One-Number” prominently in all
advertisements, albeit from Radio, Television and newsprint. Regardless
of where a customer is located (be it at a residence, office, hotel), in the
delivery area (of a UDS delivery solution), of a chain, he or she calls only
one number. The National-One-Number boosts brand identity, clarifies the
branding message, and makes advertising more effective. This brings
increased revenues for the chain and the franchise community, and solidifies
brand awareness, and repeat business.
UDS’s supplies call center services for our
clients. The DeliveryProcessingCenter
takes the customer’s call in a professional and efficient manner. With the UDS
solution, store personnel are not burdened with the task of answering the phone
for delivery services, and the customer is not alienated by being put on hold,
and kept waiting while the in-store customers are serviced. Our software
solution displays all relevant information for the agent to handle the call
quickly and efficiently, and then, the software automatically routes the order
electronically to the store nearest the customer’s location for fast and speedy
preparation and delivery.
Our IT (Information Technology) department and
delivery system disciplines are at the heart of the system that UDS has
implemented. This system
is augmented by a robust performance measurement platform, incorporating our
proprietary CRM (customer relationship management tool) that enables us, and
our partners to proactively manage the day-to-day functions of delivery program.
Proprietary software, developed by UDS, using a Web
based user interface, contains a real time analytical tool that captures all
elements of the delivery process from the time the customer initiates the call
to place an order, until it is received by the customer at their location. UDS offers the complete solution.
One of the remarkable facets of the Universal Delivery
Solutions management program is that the individual store operations are
impacted only in a positive manner. The training is simple with only our
software application to learn. This software can be deployed by UDS
electronically enabling speedy roll-outs. Once installed, when an order has
been taken for the store location, a pop up box appears on the store’s POS
(point-of-sales system) notifying the store of the delivery order. The order is
then prepared in the normal make-line, and then, handed of to the store’s
delivery personnel for final delivery to the customer. The store just needs to
prepare the orders and collect payment. For a location in the program it
is business as usual.
Daily reports are available through the database
gathered by UDS by the order taking and delivery solutions system. These
reports will be customized to provide everyone from corporate headquarters,
local area managers, down to store level, the information and data required to
monitor delivery sales and improve operations.
