Corporation (OTCBB: SSKY stock news), a leading edge Renewable Bio-Energy Company
focused on delivering alternative energy solutions to Fortune 1000
companies, Governmental agencies and Countries around the globe,
announced today the composition of its management team. The Company is
led by David Siebenga, a veteran lawyer who has dealt extensively with
firms in the field of international immigration and trading to provide
them greater access to global markets for their goods and services.
Together with his seasoned management team, their mission is to seek
and develop long-term strategic relationships with suppliers of
alternative energy sources such as biomass wood pellets and to develop
these products to a consistent specification that the target markets
require to fulfill their energy needs with environmentally smart
manufacturing facilities. The Sea 2 Sky executive management team
consists of the following individuals:
David Siebenga - President and CEO, Director
Mr. Siebenga is a lawyer admitted to the British Columbia Law
Society who operates a legal and business consulting practice in BC.
His law firm has handled over one billion dollars a year in trust funds
for clients. His business background includes operating as CFO of an
International Trading Corporation, an environmental industrial products
corporation and has previously served as a CFO for a manufacturing
facility and a financial development officer for an international land
developer. David currently provides international consulting to firms
in the immigration and trading who want access international markets
for their goods. David joins Sea 2 Sky to work through the
international aspects of distribution, contracting, sales and marketing
of its biomass products.
Erik Odeen - Chief Financial Officer, Director
Erik Odeen, CPA, CFE, has over 20 years experience in manufacturing
operations, financial management, and public accounting. He resides in
Newport Beach, California where he operates his consulting practice
which provides accounting, financial management and advisory services
to both public and privately-held company clients. More recently,
Erik's focus has been complex accounting issues, corporate
restructuring and reorganization, SEC reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley
compliance.
Erik's experience ranges from start-up and development stage to
Fortune 100 companies, including turn-around and M&A engagements.
During his 14 year career with International Paper, Erik was
instrumental in the planning and implementation of financial and
operating systems, and served in senior-level management positions with
a division of XPEDX, IP's $7 billion distribution arm. Erik is an
active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA), the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), and Association of
Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Erik brings his talents to the
dynamic international trading platform and market of Sea 2 Sky.
Doug Robertson - Chief Operating Officer, Director
Mr Robertson is a designated Project Management Professional (PMP).
Doug has extensive experience in the resource procurement and
harvesting, international log imports and exports, and financing and
construction of foreign wood product manufacturing facilities. Doug has
consulted to an American Tribal Economic Development Department. He is
also a published author of forest resource issues in British Columbia.
Doug's experience in working with American Indians and Canadian First
Nations forest practices is a benefit and asset to Sea 2 Sky as the
Company can provide help to First Nations and Indigenous peoples to
bring to market their biomass inventories in a way that is profitable
and environmentally smart for all concerned.
Henry James - Founder and Chairman of the Board
Mr. James is a senior tribal member of the Lummi Nation, USA. Having
served in the US military and discharged in 1957, Henry is a service
disabled veteran. Residing in Lummi Nation, Henry operates a James
Trading Corporation (JTC) targeting government procurement via its
SDVOB, in a HUB and Free Trade Zone status. A successful builder and
developer, Henry owns or controls over 50 million dollars in property
under development and operates a successful international trading
company utilizing his special access designations for US government
contracting. Seeing a need to produce environmentally wise energy,
Henry being understood as a successful Native Entrepreneur has
connections and ability to work through Sea 2 Sky with First Nations
and indigenous communities in Canada, the US and abroad to provide a
wise new direction in energy supply and access to Biomass pellets.
Ira Steiner - Marketing Director
Ira Steiner, who is a partner in his Families Forestry program in
Oberau, Austria has extensive experience in the trading and marketing
of Forest Products between North and South America, Europe and Asia. He
has sold and traded a total of close to $ 500,000,000 over the last 2
Decades. He has a long career in which he has worked closely with many
First Nation Bands in British Columbia.
Ira is multilingual, which allows him easy access to the European
marketplace. His European contacts and appreciation of European culture
allows him to effectively represent Sea 2 Sky in this market.
Ed Hoessman - Technical Research Manager
Since 1980, Ed has been a government programs consultant for a wide
variety of national and international companies and has facilitated the
acquisition of over $9 billion, in US Government contracts.
With more than 40 years of government programs experience, Ed reads,
writes and speaks 'government' like a true native. After years spent
negotiating face-to-face with procurement agents in Washington, DC, Ed
knows precisely how to navigate governmental 'red-tape' - ensuring that
unnecessary, and costly delays, and income draining pitfalls are
avoided while securing costeffective and profit-building government
contracts.
Ed has developed and secured DOD, Federal, NATO and Foreign Military
Sales (FMS) contracts world-wide. For the last 25 years, Ed has
consulted for prime contractors, major subcontractors, vendors and
suppliers. Recently, Ed was a national trainer for the SBA and a WA
State and Federal Government procurement program speaker and trainer.
Ed joins Sea 2 Sky as an employee working to fulfill the US
government's alternative fuel initiative by promoting Sea 2 Sky biomass
options into the US Energy Sector.
